Pros
free gym membership and lots of chances to interact with members

Poor pay with terrible management from regional leadership and up. Favoritism is a major issue.

"planet fitness jobs"
Pros
manager and coworkers were generally pretty nice
Cons
Too many strange rules in the membership contracts, which frustrates both staff and members. Plus, minimum wage with maximum effort?doesn?t seem fair.

"felt more like a janitor than a trainer"
Pros
if you?re busy with clients and enjoy who you?re training, the day flies by
Cons
Not allowed to sit at the front desk, even during slow times. You?re expected to stay busy constantly, and downtime is frowned upon.

"DON?T work here"
Pros
most members are awesome, regulars treat you like family, plus a free black card membership
Cons
Low pay. Unless you?ve got connections with upper management, it?s nearly impossible to get promoted or paid fairly. Profits seem to matter more than employee well-being.

"dead end"
Pros
great coworkers?perfect job if you like meeting new people and socializing
Cons
Only $13 an hour, standing for full 8-hour shifts, and they can lock your phone away if they feel like it. Management sides with the company, not the employees. A lot of cleaning and heavy lifting for little pay.

"feels like a trap"
Pros
free membership, but honestly, not much else that?s great about the job
Cons
Terrible management and even worse pay. Upper management should actually talk to staff to see how unhappy people are.
General Comments
While management was generally effective, regional managers sometimes targeted specific employees unfairly. Addressing this bias would improve workplace culture.

Pros
easy work, meet cool people every day, great for networking, and free gym membership
Cons
Made $11/hour for over a year. Promised a raise if I showed up early for two weeks, which I did, but nothing ever came of it?even after months of asking.
